What are Gmail's SMTP Settings?
Gmail SMTP server allows you to send emails from your Gmail account using other email clients like Outlook or Thunderbird, the program needs to understand how to communicate with Gmail email servers.
This is done by the Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP) server settings. The settings are not different, this is the same for all the email providers you use with Gmail.

What is the Default SMTP Setting For Gmail ?
A screen will ask for your Gmail SMTP information when you
set up an email account to sync with your Gmail account.
You have to use this configuration:
- server address - smtp.gmail.com
- Name - Your full name
- Username - Your Gmail
address (for ex, example@gmail.com)
- Password - Your Gmail
password
- Port (TLS) - 587
- Port (SSL) - 465
- Requires TLS/SSL - Yes
- Requires authentication / Use authentication - Yes
- Requires secure connection / Use secure connection - Yes
What are Default POP3 & IMAP Settings for Gmail?
Gmail's Default POP3 and IMAP Setting -
You must have configured the settings to receive emails, the SMTP
settings are only used to send emails, Emails are received through POP3 or IMAP
servers. You must enable access through the settings in Gmail by go to Settings
> Forwarding & POP/IMAP, before you can identify these settings in your email
client.
Still Why Can’t You Send Emails By Gmail ?
Before you try to
fix the problem remember that you are entering the wrong password. You can
change your Gmail password if you forget it.
Some email apps use less secure, older technology to sign in to your email account and by default Gmail blocks these requests. In these cases, you will receive a message about the security of the email client. To solve this problem, sign in to your Gmail account using a web browser & go to the Less Secure Apps Access page to allow access from less secure apps. You should also unlock Gmail for your email client.
